MANNA
Ministries was conceived in 1983 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
God clearly spoke these words to Pastor Sealy, “I have
a work for you to do, and it shall be called MANNA”. Being
young in the Lord and inexperienced in the workings of God,
Pastor Sealy misunderstood the purpose of MANNA.
She made attempts to initiate several businesses under the name
of MANNA, but was not successful. In 1991,
Pastor Sealy began to pray for redirection regarding the work
God had purposed for her life. At that time God sent the storms
in her life that would serve to strengthen her for the real
work of ministry. During these times He prepared her in prayer
and study of His Word.
In
1995 the prophetic word came from many sources regarding her prayer
mantle, her teaching/preaching ministry, her ministry to hurting
women in the church and her prophetic gift. In July 1998 while
on a personal prayer retreat in Blue Mountain Christian Retreat
Center, God again spoke concerning the work of MANNA.
This time the instructions were clear. Pastor Sealy had misunderstood;
MANNA was not to be a business, but a ministry. It was
to be a ministry that carried a message of holiness, health and
restoration. The focus would be to teach and women and men alike
to live for God, to honor the “temple of the Holy Spirit”
through proper care, to be restored in faith, spiritual integrity
and hope. At this time God also assured Pastor Sealy that He had
called her to be His prophet, a prophet after the kind of Jeremiah.
The first work God commissioned MANNA Ministries
to undertake was a Health & Holiness conference and in June
1999, Health & Holiness:Living Wholly for the Lord, was presented.
In obedience to the Spirit of God, MANNA has
moved out in faith to do the work of the Lord. We pray that our
focus will always be on Christ our Living Savior, that our path
will be directed by God and God alone, and that all we do will
bring honor and glory to His Holy name
As
God provided manna for the children of Israel in the wilderness,
a food that sustained them for forty years; so it is that MANNA
Ministries propose to offer the Bread of Life – Jesus Christ
- to those who are starving for the realness of God. The foundational
and commissioning scriptures for MANNA Ministries

Nehemiah
9:20
“Thou gavest also thy good spirit to instruct them and
witheldest not thy man’-na from their mouth, and gavest
them water for their thirst”.
Luke 4 :18-19
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed
me to preach the gospel to the poor: he hath sent me to heal
the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and
recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that
are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
