MANNA
Ministries International, Inc. is an inter-denominational God
ordained para-church* ministry affiliated with the Word of God
Ministries, International; designed to strengthen, nourish and
support local churches, ministries and individuals. MANNA is
grounded in the Christian principle of holiness and the integration
of God’s plan for healthy living. We are committed to
enhancing personal fellowship with God the Father, acknowledging
that Jesus Christ is the only Lord and Head of the Church and
that the Holy Spirit leads each member in fulfilling the Great
Commission and to carry out the work to which God has called
us. MANNA recognizes that God has endowed each member, church
and ministry with unique gifts, callings and purpose.
The
purpose of MANNA is to serve as an instrument of God,
teaching habits of holy and healthy living, and reaching men
and women with a message of healing and restoration. Holy and
healthy living is essential to the restoration of mankind to
a state of peace with God, society and self. MANNA Ministries
propose to deliver a message of healing and restoration through
the establishment of a relationship with God, grounding in His
Word, essential lifestyle changes, and prudent self-management.
Vision
Statement: It is the vision of MANNA Ministries to
impact the community of believers and non-believers alike to
live the life God intended for man. MANNA envisions this life
to be one of communion with God, peace with one’s fellow
man, and care of the human body – the “temple of
the Holy Spirit”. The tools needed by mankind to live
this life include: salvation, information, and education.
Statement of Faith:
MANNA Ministries is committed to a Biblical faith. The NICENE
CREED as stated in the Westminster Shorter Catechism defines
what we believe:
*The
triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
*The
deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His substitutionary atonement
for sin, His bodily resurrection and His personal visible imminent
return to earth.
*The
person of the Holy Spirit who indwells all believers and His
work of conviction regeneration and sanctification.
*The
necessity of the new birth, salvation by faith in Jesus Christ
alone.
*One
Catholic (universal) and Apostolic Church
*One
Baptism for the remission of sin
*The
resurrection of the dead
*Eternal
life
*The
Bible is the inspired word of God, comprised of both the Old
and New Testaments.
Operating
Principles:
MANNA Ministries will operate on the following principles:
God
is the true, living and Sovereign God. We will have no other
gods before Him.
Man
is created in the image and likeness of God. We will respect
all men as bearing the image of God.
The
body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. We will care for the
body as God commands.
Teaching/education
is a tool Jesus used to train His disciples. We will train others
to live as Jesus taught – in holiness and health.
Declaration:
Based
on the mission, vision, and faith statements, as well as, the
operating principles, Manna Ministries International, Inc. makes
a declaration of obligation to teach God’s people to live
a life of health, wholesomeness, and Holiness, and to work to
bring about healing and restoration to the body of Christ.
MANNA
Ministries International, Inc. will serve both secular and Christian
organizations and individuals. We will utilize Christians of
like belief known to be mature in God’s works and Word
and whom God has gifted to deliver our message. Our method of
ministry will include prayer, seminars, conferences, retreats,
newsletters, evangelistic outreach, individual counseling, and
preaching/teaching the word of God.
Our
Attitude must be: Obedience to the Christian Faith.
Our
Assignment is to: All nations.
Our
Authority is: In His Name.
*Para-church Definition
The
word “para” simply means beside or alongside of”.
A para-church ministry, as the world parallel indicates, is
therefore a ministry designed to go alongside of the local body
of Christ to strengthen and support it. The para-church and
the local church are two independent entities yet mutually dependent
upon each other, moving in the same direction, and existing
with a common purpose: to perpetuate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
